By looking at the potential you have within yourself as a human being, you can find the inner workings that guide us into doing great things. I aimed to represent these qualities through the songs I wrote in this EP. In tracklist order, the songs were meant to capture;
Happiness
Determination
Imagination
Perseverance
Love
These traits are what really drive our soul and allow us to shape our destiny. We as a species have been able to defy the laws of nature time and time again, from medical miracles to the craziness that is traveling into the vast emptiness of space. With space travel off the checklist of human achievements, it’s clear that very little stands in the way between our dreams and reality. It was this thought that drove me to pursue my career in music, and so with this project I take my first step into the world I’ve forever loved and yearned to be a part of.
I’d like to give a huge thanks to my family for all the great energy and support you’ve given me. I feel very fortunate and without you guys I wouldn’t be here releasing my very first EP!
I’d also like to thank the faculty of Harbourside Institute of Technology and my classmates, that gave me the knowledge to launch my music career, and for the experiences that I’ll always remember as one of the best years of my life.
A very special thanks to;
Christopher Balaskas, for his astonishing art he licensed to me for the cover art
My wonderful sister Adriana Contreras for help with the website, prints, stickers, and CD's. I love being able to collaborate together on a project and I couldn’t thank you enough for all your efforts in making this a reality.
Laura De Pascale for the incredible designs and art you’ve created for me, RedOption wouldn’t be as great without you!
And to Juliana Winter I couldn’t thank you enough for being with me throughout all of this and constantly having to put up with all the sounds and repetitive bits of music. Looking forward to having you by my side throughout this journey! I love you!
Much Love and Respect to all of you!
