"...only once finally arriving at the scene did he realize, it was all a just a decoy. The Responder had taken the bait and now had little time left as the incoming missile cut up through the atmosphere. Using the remaining fuel in his jetpack, he boosted himself back into his spacecraft and took cover.
BOOM!
The raw force of the crash instantly disassembled the spacecraft, scattering metal debris that became quickly integrated among the stars. The rocket's explosion released an infectious gas that bathed the entire area in teal smoke, releasing the mutation virus back into the wild. Seeking immediate refuge, The Responder frantically regained control of the jetpack and took off into the vast emptiness, breathing heavily, inside his now; teal coloured helmet....."
